What does Youth BDD do?

- The YBDD has several objectives:

1. YBDD organizes annual spectacular football camps!

2. The YBDD wants to publicize existing deaf sports competitions, both nationally and internationally, and encourage deaf youth to participate in them.

3. YBDD wants the children to be in good shape to participate in competitions, but of course above all that children athletes can enjoy relaxation and fun!

4. YBDD wants to spread tips and information among deaf youth and their parents.

5. YBDD is in contact with schools for the deaf, GON coordinators, parent associations, ...

6. YBDD is always willing to give advice to a hearing sports club if the sports club wants to guide a deaf or hard-of-hearing child in his sport.

@As a child or as a young person, you can become a completely FREE DSV member at the BDC!

What is the YBDD?

Belgian Deaf Devils . The Official name is Koninklijke Sportverbond der Doven van België vzw. The BDC and BDD were largely founded by EN for the hearing impaired and the deaf. We ensure that every person with a hearing disability can practice a sport at his / her level, because as deaf or hard of hearing it is still difficult to function within the able-bodied sports world.

Are you deaf or hard of hearing and would you like to be able to exercise with equal opportunities?

Why sport for the deaf?

Everything in sports is about communication. That is precisely the reason why many hearing impaired people do not join a 'hearing' club. In daily life we function as normal people, which is why our disability is also called the 'invisible' disability.

But within the sports world there are often minor problems in the communication field. Follow a training or take advice from the trainer coach, participate in team sports in a hearing team, make contact with fellow sufferers ...

All this is often difficult! It is precisely this problem that we, YBDD, try to solve. Our omnisport federation offers sporting possibilities in sports: field football, mini football, indoor football, etc.
