FOOTBALL FOR THE DEAF AND THE HARD OF HEARING
Deaf football tries to provide an adapted environment for the deaf and hard of hearing.
In Belgium there are specific clubs for this target group, but the players can also go to the regular football offer with a small adjustment.
DISCIPLINE
DID YOU KNOW...
Football for the deaf and hard of hearing is identical to regular football. Only the referee adapts to his way of communicating. Football players with an auditory disability play football as inclusive as possible and can therefore also play in regular football. There are also some tournaments and activities for exclusive deaf teams. These activities are organized by the Belgian Deaf Sports Committee (BDC).
REGULATIONS
The general Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) rules of the game for football apply. The referee adjusts by using a flag as signaling.
There are 60,000 people in Flanders who were born deaf or hard of hearing. 6,000 of these people know Flemish Sign Language (VGT). In addition to the whistle, the referee in deaf football also uses a flag. There is a national team with players who are deaf or hard of hearing? The Belgian Deaf Devils (BDD) are officially recognized as a national team the RBFA | RFBA. They regularly organize training sessions and practice matches to prepare for the Deaflympics, European and World Championships. In July 2016, the Belgian Deaf Devils became eighth at Deaf Soccer in Italy. They also set up a U21 team in 2016 to give promising deaf and hard-of-hearing players the opportunity to prepare optimally for a possible selection in the national team. The U21 Deaf Devils achieved fourth place at the latest U21 European Championship in 2018.

BECOME A SPONSOR
Dear Sympathizer,
As Deaf Devils National Football Club, we are proud of our senior work and the results achieved by all our teams. With a team of driven board members, well-trained trainers, motivated team supervisors and loyal volunteers, we do everything we can to create an atmosphere in which all involved can fully experience their sporting passion.
Especially for the youth it is important that they can develop themselves in a safe and fun way. We therefore want to offer high-quality training and work on a balanced team composition, so that we can offer all players sufficient opportunities to play. In this way we are building a successful and local senior team with players that we have trained ourselves.
As a board, we are proud to say that Belgian Deaf Devils is a financially healthy National football club. In order to keep it that way, we naturally also count on sponsorship. The financial resources that we generate in this way are invested in materials and training clothes, decorating our accommodation and the organization of all kinds of activities such as tournaments and dinner parties.
Our current sponsors have a warm heart for our association. Their social involvement has translated into a multi-year sponsorship agreement. It is a good thing for them to increase their brand awareness.
In this sports package we list all the possibilities for sponsorship and indicate what potential sponsors can expect from our club.
A warm welcome from the board!
