Laureates 2018:

Sportsman: Senne Dierckx, footballer (U21 Deaf Devils) *

Sportswoman: Adeline Hamaide, football player

Team: National team Football U21 (Belgian Deaf Devils) *

Younger -21: Senne Dierckx, footballer (U21 Deaf Devils)

Senior + 45: Michel Descornet, cyclist and triathlete

Leader: Staff (Belgian Deaf Devils U21) *

Lifetime: Michel Francois, tennis

The Fair Play and National Trophy Sports Merit BDC was also awarded, both of which went to the U-21 team of CSS Namur.

(*) = Senne Dierckx , international footballer who finished 4th with the Belgian team at the U21 European Championship and became top scorer of the tournament with 13 goals after the legendary match against the Czech Republic in which he scored no less than 9 consecutive goals and 1 assist for the 10th goal, he is also the most important player at his able-bodied club Lentezon Beersel (3rd provincial), living in Kasterlee.

(*) = Football U21 national team (Belgian Deaf Devils) , were beautiful fourth at the European Championship U21 with a totally new team! This team also becomes the standard-bearer for the A-team after qualifying for the European Championship in Crete, Greece, after their match against Russia and Spain.

(*) = Staff Belgian U21 Deaf Devils , because of the gloss performance that this staff provides; consisting of all volunteers who received no compensation; working with a team consisting of a mix of deaf and hearing impaired young players who recently came from the valid world that resulted in a beautiful 4th place at the European Championship U21!
